• Medical Council of India v. Vedantaa Institute of Academic Excellence Pvt. Ltd. & Ors.

    Jun, 01-2018

Relying on its prior judgment that that the courts must not interfere, except for reasons like mala fides of the inspection team, etc., with the assessment made by an expert body when it has certified that facilities in a medical college were inadequate, the Apex Court set aside the order of Bombay High Court directing the Medical Council of India to re-inspect the medical college, where "large-scale deficiencies" were already found during an inspection conducted for academic year 2017-18.
